"It's Finished"

One of two renders I made for a Halo community project. My part was to create renders that would be used as postcards and handed out at the upcoming HCS community event. I wanted to keep things relatively simple given they would be relatively small, so simple recreations of scenes from campaigns was the route I decided to go with.

For this render, I wanted to recreate the ending of Halo 3. Using assets from Halo Infinite and Halo 4, I recreated the scene of Cortana and Master Chief just before he enters cryo-sleep. I felt this was an intimate moment, and one where both characters could take a sigh of relief at the end of the story.
